Social Activities - ECO-FRIENDLY VINAYAKA CHAVITHI & DIWALI
Every year students celebrate Eco-friendly Vinayaka Chavithi & Diwali. Eco-friendly festival celebrations are embraced, in turn reducing environmental pessimistic impact. As a part of environmentally friendly sustainable practices, clay diyas and Ganesh Clay Idols are decorated with natural colors instead of chemical based paints and embellishments and Ganesh chaturthi. Clay diyas and idols are displayed in the stalls arranged for sale. The fund raised from the exhibition sale is donated to the old age home every year, which is an amazing practice of supporting the community for a meaningful cause. The fund is transferred to the selected organization. Students interact with elderly residents, understand social responsibility, practice generosity, gain practical experience in planning, organizing and executing community service projects. Ultimately these experiences shape students into compassionate, nurturing empathy, enrich social responsibility and community well-being.
